(Río de Janeiro).- The president of Loterj, Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, announced that the rules for the operation of the Video Lottery Terminals (VLTS) in Río are about to be published. With this new association with WA.Technology, Río will have the potential to become the largest VLT market in the world.

This week, Loterj met with executives from WA.Technology, an Italian holding company specialized in technological solutions for the gaming sector, with a focus on VLT control and monitoring. The participants were the president Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, the vice-president Fabíola Esteves and the director of Regulatory Affairs of the company and former president of Caixa Loterias, Waldir Eustáquio Marques Júnior, in addition to the executives Lorenzo Caci, Fillipo Ceci and Manuele Carrate.
The technical specifications of the WA.Technology platform are presented, which offers continuous monitoring of equipment, adaptation to different architectures, real-time control and tools against money laundering, gaming problems and irregularities. Hazenclever highlighted that the rules are in the final phase and highlighted Río's protagonism:
"In the next few days, we will reveal clear and safe rules for the VLT, which will guarantee total control, player protection and the return of resources to society. There is real potential to lead this global market. Loterj will act with seriousness, innovation and responsibility, without improvisations or lags".
Fabíola Esteves reinforced Loterj's commitment to a regulatory model aligned with the best international practices: "Technology is an ally of transparency, security and social responsibility. We have built an ethical and sustainable sector".
Waldir Marques Júnior highlights Loterj's pioneering and responsible role: "While the Union generates insecurity, Loterj acts with coherence, focused on the social return of the recovery of games".
With the focus of WA.Technology and imminent regulation, Loterj reaffirms its technical and institutional role, positioning Río de Janeiro as a global center of opportunities in the legal and innovative gaming market.
